Officials set order No Trick or Treating

Maverick County Judge David Saucedo and Eagle Pass Mayor Luis Sifuentes announced that they have set a lawful order in place to restrict any Trick or Treating during the upcoming Halloween holiday which will be on Saturday, October 31st.

The following Proclamation shall only apply to Saturday, October 31, 2020, from 6 am to 11:59 pm. Trick or treating from door to door shall be prohibited at multifamily and single family residences. Businesses are able to have drive through trick or treating only,” declared Judge Saucedo.

The declaration is enforceable including fines not to exceed $1,000

Eagle Pass Mayor Luis Sifuentes and Maverick County Judge David Saucedo announced that due to the Covid-19 Pandemic and an increase of positive cases during the last two weeks after a significance drop, they will not permit for any trick or treating.

This will be in effect within county and City jurisdiction.
