10 percent of Maverick County voters have come out to vote

As of October 19 approximately 10 percent of the registered voters have come out to vote.

Early voting in the 2020 Presidential election will continue throughout the week and onto October 30.

As of Monday , October 19 there have been 3,456 in person votes cast with 719 counted on Tuesday, 696 on Wednesday, 606 votes cast on Thursday, 810 votes cast on Friday, October 16 , and 635 votes on Monday Oct. 19.

Election day will be held on November 3rd.

Wait times have not been an issue at the polling site in Maverick County with approximately 78 voters being processed on average per hour.

Voting totals are expected to increase in the final days of voting in what will be numerous hotly contested races Including the Presidential race.

Registered voters are urged to go out and cast your vote.

There are approximately 33,050 registered voters in Maverick County.
